We are closed for the 2010 strawberry season. Thanks for a great season.

We are a "Pick Your Own" so please come out and join us for a day in the field. Bring your children, if they get tired of picking we have a number of activities for them. Activities include: small play area, pitcher pump, feeding goats, chickens, steer roping, and many other farm activities.

Strawberry season is early May through mid June, we will also have fresh vegetables available during this time. We are a "Pick Your Own" and we are always open on the honor system.

We grow chandler strawberries, the plants are planted in early fall when the soil is still warm. This allows the plants enough time to establish a good root system, then after the first hard frost they go dormant. We cover the plants for protection against deer and other critters. In early spring we uncover the plants and watch them blossom into a beautiful flower that eventually produces the strawberry.
